I wasn’t able to make this blog post on Tuesday (my regular post day), but I did want to get it posted as soon as possible.
As we all know, things are a little chaotic right now.
I wanted to take this time to let my clients, or future clients, know that MaePhotography is still scheduling sessions; However there will be some limitations.
First: In an attempt to practice social distancing, at this time I am not accepting large group/extended family sessions for the month of March or April. If this needs to continue into the month of May or further, I will post it on my facebook page or make clients aware upon request.
Second: Due to many facilities closing their lobby’s or their buildings altogether, all sessions will take place outdoors, weather permitting. If need be, I will be responsible for rescheduling sessions due to bad weather as stated in my client/photographer contract. If your session date falls on a day of bad weather and there is an indoor location that you are interested in, I am happy to make a call to check on their availability.
This limitation does not apply to lifestyle sessions which take place in a clients home.
Third: Easter minis were set to take place in my home, therefore, I will not be accepting anymore bookings for these minis. Those who have scheduled their Easter minis already have the option to move forward with their session, reschedule for a later date (with this option we can do the planned Easter mini set up or if the date needs to be moved past Easter we can plan for a family session: please contact me for more details on this option), or lastly we can cancel the session and you will receive a full refund.
I encourage all of my clients to wash their hands before and after their session as soon as they can. I have always, and will continue, to have hand sanitizer available to use during sessions.
If you are showing any signs of illness (Cough, fever, runny nose ,etc.) please contact me to reschedule your session. As a reminder the retainer fee is nonrefundable for all sessions; However, it is not forfeited in the result of a rescheduled session. If you are showing signs of illness and fail to contact me before your scheduled session, I reserve the right to cancel your session on the spot. You will then forfeit your retainer fee and if you would like to schedule a new session date another retainer fee will need to be paid.
